Luci TV episode 1: New travel experiences in Luxembourg – Outdoors Passion

The first episode of Luci TV was aimed at tourism professionals from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Designed and produced in TV format, the first episode of Luci TV was broadcast live on 20 May 2021 from the former Benedictine Abbey of Neumünster in Luxembourg City. With this, LFT is breaking new ground during a period impacted by coronavirus to give multipliers an appealing first insight into the destination.

The target audience was tourism professionals from German-speaking countries. Luci TV showed them new travel experiences in Luxembourg using a mix of film clips and discussions with local protagonists. Dr Sebastian Reddeker, CEO of Luxembourg for Tourism, spoke about Luxembourg’s comprehensive range of outdoor and cultural activities with Linda Salentin from the Mullerthal region – Luxembourg’s Little Switzerland, Jessica-Maria Rauch from the Esch 2022 Capital of Culture project, Philippe Herkrath from Provelo.lu and the city’s UNESCO representative Dr Robert L. Philippart.

Hiking through fascinating landscapes in the Mullerthal, cycling through vineyards along the Moselle and amazing experiences in the Minett, where nature and industrial culture meet: the approx. 30-minute live broadcast provided an entertaining and informative mix, talking about everything from hiking without bags and special bike tours to cultural highlights in the rugged south.

A French-language episode of Luci TV for travel professionals from France will be broadcast on 28 September 2021, as well as an English-language episode for the Dutch market. These two programmes will also be broadcast live.
