A complete digital platform

Thanks to the Regiondo booking service, Luxembourg for Tourism can provide tourist attractions with a one-stop digital platform. The sales channel for leisure activities allows for optimal and easy coordination between operators and customers.

Whether you are looking for entry passes to the Parc Merveilleux in Bettembourg, tickets for a tour of the Bofferding brewery or a relaxing afternoon at the Upper Sûre Lake, with Regiondo, visitors to tourist attractions in Luxembourg can buy tickets 24/7 via LFT’s various sales channels. Luxembourg’s regional tourism offices (ORTs) and youth hostels also use this system for their activities and guided tours, among other things. Regiondo is not only ideal for visitors, but also boasts numerous advantages for operators.

Operators of the associated points of interest (POIs) simply pay a small commission per ticket sold, and benefit from selling across numerous channels: on their own website, at the ORTs, on visitluxembourg.com, through apps, and on social media. Bookings, customer data and appointments are automatically synchronised. The attractions are displayed prominently online for consumers to make their bookings with ease, replacing the need for phone calls and emails.

Managing visitor flows; contactless payment and check-in

“The system is ideal because it is very easy to operate,” says Daniel Oly from Visit Minett (ORT Sud). In addition, the booking system always records how many tickets have been sold and can subsequently establish time slots for visitors. In 2020, this tool became essential for preventing excessively large visitor numbers at places such as the Baggerweier lakes in Remich and the Upper Sûre Lake in Lultzhausen. Daniel Oly is a Regiondo convert: “On the one hand, it’s convenient for the provider, and on the other hand, it gives the visitor peace of mind: the perfect combination.”

Regiondo also allows contactless payment, while customers can check in without direct contact – a big weight off their shoulders in Covid-19 times for a safe and stress-free visitor experience.
